A- frame chalet nestled in a pine forest amid surrounding cypress trees and
provides serenity and tranquility at its very best.
The Inn is for those who want a short stay retreat away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. The chalet is in
a serene setting where the only sounds heard are those of chirping birds or the whistle of an approaching train.
Innkeepers Norwood and Kristin Williams maintain the relaxed and layback atmosphere provided at the Inn.
The Inn has 1300 square feet and was built in 1980. It gives one the feeling of being in a swiss chalet tucked
away in a pine secluded forest.
It is fully furnished with a wood burning fireplace and gas and electric fireplaces throughout. We have one
spacious bedroom, one small bedroom in the loft, two full bathrooms, living room, eat-in kitchen, dining nook, and
two screened-in porches.
In line with our desire to provide you optimum privacy and relaxation, we provide in the chalet all 'makings' for a
wholesome and delicious breakfast which you can fix in our fully equipped kitchen according to your own
taste and schedule.
What makes the Snuggle-Inn somewhat unique is that unlike most other B & B's where you occupy a room in a
lodging shared with others, at the Snuggle-Inn the whole chalet is yours for the length of your stay. You have
all the comforts and conveniences of home without being at home.
The Snuggle-Inn is equipped with wireless internet for use during your stay.
SOME SPECIALS
The Snuggle-Inn also provides a special place for holding a special event on a day-to-day basis without the
need for overnight accommodations. Such occasions could include business meetings, church retreats, social
club get-togethers, and any other such function or activity of this nature.
The Innkeepers also offer a special on overnight stays during the winter months of December, January, and
February.

Dear Visitors and Guests,
Welcome to your tour of the Snuggle-Inn! We hope you will enjoy taking a peek at
our accommodations and become familiar with our location and surroundings. We
are a no-frills lodging. Most of all we want our guests to feel relaxed and
comfortable during their stay with us. Before your tour, let us tell you a little bit
about our Inn and ourselves.
We, your Innkeepers, are a retired couple, but young enough to keep up with our
guests of all ages. We retired to Norwood's home town of Clayton, North Carolina
twelve years ago from Baltimore, Maryland. Norwood, a Doctor, retired from a
full-time practice as a licensed Psychologist, and Kristin, also a Doctor, retired as
Director of Personnel for the Maryland State Department of Education and also
from a part-time Counseling practice. Thus, our professions in Maryland kept us
busy around the clock so the chalet was built as a "Get-Away Retreat" from hectic
schedules. After our retirement in 1995, the chalet was converted into a "Guest
Home" for our relatives and friends. Then in October 2007, the chalet was finally
converted into a "Bed and Breakfast Inn". Living in Clayton has made us appreciate
the peace and quiet of small town living. Our office and home is up-the-path from
the Snuggle-Inn so your stay with us will be private and secure, but we are close
enough if you need us.
Enjoy your tour. We hope after your "glimpse" that you will want to spend some
relaxing and peaceful time at our get-away lodge. We will do everything possible to
make it what you want it to be.
Thanks for visiting and we look forward to your stay!
Norwood and Kristin
